We took our own self-guided chocolate tour today. We've been snacking on them and surely we will not sleep tonight because of all the caffeine or sugar or whatever it is in chocolate that makes people not sleep. But we will say now....it is worth it. Top chocolatiers:
First Place: Pierre Marcolini for their subtle and complex flavors.2nd Place: Tied between Gerard Mulot and Patrick Roger. Gerard Mulot had serious savories too.
We can't wait to go on this tour!
Some tastes from Pierre Herme (72, rue Bonaparte) with an espresso.
Next stop Gerard Mulot at 76, rue de Seine. The pastries looked incredible...
The savories looked nice too but we stuck with the chocolates.
We really enjoyed Pierre Marcolini staff at 89, rue de Seine. They paired some wonderful chocolate tastes for us.
The window display of hippos made out of chocolate got our attention at Patrick Roger at 108 blvd Saint-Germain
Selecting chocolate is hard! We work so hard on this trip to Paris.
Becky enjoying some chocolate and some red wine in our lovely apartment - thank you Christopher!!!
